Post-Publication Discussion

Jurnal Masyarakat Merdeka (JMM) supports academic discussion and the evaluation of articles after publication to improve the quality of community service and the sharing of knowledge and experience.

Readers, researchers, and community service practitioners are encouraged to submit constructive comments, questions, or evidence-based feedback on articles published in JMM. Discussions may address the methods used, the implementation of community service activities, the results achieved, the benefits for the community, or other relevant aspects of the published work. All submissions must be relevant, supported by clear evidence, respectful, and written in an appropriate academic manner.

All post-publication comments are reviewed by the editorial team. The editor may invite the original authors to respond and may consult independent experts when necessary. The editorial team has the right to accept, request revisions to, or reject submissions that do not meet the journal's standards for relevance, quality, and publication ethics.

If a discussion reveals significant errors, concerns about the accuracy of reported results, or possible violations of publication ethics, the editorial team will investigate the matter in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Depending on the findings, appropriate actions may include publishing a correction, an editorial note, a response from the authors, or a retraction of the article.

JMM is committed to handling all post-publication discussions fairly, transparently, and responsibly. The journal respects the rights of authors and readers while ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of its published articles.
